The Car Tax is unfair to Califormia's working families. My budget plan will lower the Car Tax by increasing alcohol and tobacco taxes. As Lt. Governor, I sued the energy companies for price gouging and we got $1.8 billion back. I will re-regulate electricity in California. As Governor, I will define gasoline as a public utility and regulate gasoline prices to protect people, business and jobs.
